When America is Attacked Again

Not if, when. We will be attacked again. The combination of porous borders, flourishing illegal immigration, and pre-emptively attacking sovereign nations to uphold U.N. resolutions contrary to the U.N.'s wishes is a recipe for more terrorists attacks. When we are attacked again, my greatest fear is not what our attackers will do to us, whether they will wreck our economy, assassinate our leaders, wreak havoc on our infrastructure, or how many of us they will kill. My greatest fear will be our government's remedy for these attacks.

Besides the invasion of Afghanistan for harboring Bin Laden, the 9/11 attacks resulted in little action that was inclined to prevent future terrorist attacks. The increased airport security was designed to maximize the inconvenience of citizens who are unlikely to be attackers and insists on a militant stupidity by Federalized security personnel in ignoring the profile of every airline hijacker in modern history. The Patriot Act usurps the constitutional rights of United States citizens, such as the right to a trial by jury and the right to privacy, and massively increases the power of the Federal police state. Contrary to the delusion that is daily reinforced in the media, such sacrifices of liberty on the alter of a strong police state are not a benefit to our security. They are much more of a threat to our security. This Patriot-Act-empowered Department of Homeland Security is doing little more that will actually prevent terrorist attacks. They are not stopping terrorists from entering our country at the borders, they are not evicting illegal aliens who violate our laws, they are not encouraging citizens to arm themselves, they are not quickly and publicly executing the mass murderers we do catch. All of this would indeed prevent terrorist attacks and restore security to our nation (see Numbers 35:30-34, and Deuteronomy 19:1113,20-21). The primary aim of the police state is not making us safe - else they would do the things that would make us safe and would not do the things that would usurp our God-given inalienable liberties. The police state justifies itself based upon the threats of terrorism, but I fear the police state more than the threats of terrorism.

When America is attacked again, don't expect any government action that will actually prevent future terrorist attacks. Expect our liberties to be further curtailed. Expect more hate crime legislation that cracks down on religious extremists who think abortion is murder and homosexuality is sin. Expect more gun control. Expect Patriot Act 2. Expect our bank accounts to be further drained for even more powerful and intrusive government bureaucracies. Those doing the draining are counting on the terrorist attacks - they need them! Without them, tyranny would be slow in coming. With terrorist attacks, an immoral people will cry for cages to keep them safe.

After much investigation, I am convinced that our government has lied to us about the 9/11 terrorist attacks. There are many conspiracy theories that have been invalidated, promulgated by those who are quick to think the worst about our government. But the testimony of many aviation experts, physics and demolitions experts, and witnesses have convinced many Americans that we have been grossly deceived by our government. At the very least, there is no way that American Airlines flight 77, a 757 passenger jet, struck the Pentagon on 9/11, and our government knows it. As King Solomon said, with much knowledge comes much sorrow. I have laid awake many nights, stunned by the revelation that our government leaders are insincere, that they are lying to us, and that they conspire to usurp our constitutional liberties. It's the Oklahoma City bombing all over again - it was Brigadier General Benton K. Partin who convinced me that there is no possible way that a single truck fertilizer bomb blew up the Murray Federal Building. There must have been bombs on the pilings, and from the photographs of the ruins, the good General can show you which pilings and which level of the building the explosives were on. Our government lied to us about Oklahoma City, and they are lying to us about 9/11.

I am not alone in my distrust of the government's official story of 9/11. There is a massive effort to force Eliot Spitzer, Attorney General of New York, to convene a grand jury to study the evidence that has been gathered and to use the power of subpoena to discover the truth about what happened on 9/11 ( They want the Department of Justice to release the surveillance videos confiscated by the F.B.I. that purport to show the jet flying into the Pentagon. They want to examine the evidence for themselves. They will not be duped by the whitewash-job of the "9/11 Commission", nor will we be intimidated by being called unpatriotic or hateful.

This highlights a mission that freedom-loving Americans must pursue if we are to resist Federal tyranny and restore our constitutional liberties. The leaders of our state governments must stand up, risk all, and say "No" to the Federal government. We must prosecute all criminals who violate the rights of our state's citizens, even if they are Federal agents, Federal politicians, or abortionists. We must pursue the truth about the Federal government's repeated violation of our constitutional liberties, without consideration of gain or loss.

It must begin with us as individuals. Are we willing to pay whatever cost necessary to remain free, that our posterity may be free? Are we willing to follow the truth wherever it leads? Are we willing to obey God rather than man? If we are not, then we deserve tyranny. I pray that God finds a remnant of Americans who will follow God and obey His Word regardless of the consequences, who will fear God more than the Federal government, who live free from sin. May God find a remnant of Americans who value freedom more than security. His eyes are roaming to and fro through our nation, looking to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect towards Him.

Live in chains if you feel you must to be safe, but as for me and my house, give me liberty or give me death.
